In all European countries Internet connctivity is available. The accessibility and penetration in households and public areas varies however dramatically.
In most capitals you can find Internet Cafes and/or Hot Spots for wireless LAN's in hotels and universities. In rural areas and East Europe mostly - slow - dialup connctions are still in use.
In West Europe highspeed broadband connections to every household are becoming quite normal and penetration ranges from 65% to 85%.
Hotels offer modem connection and/or ISDN and/or Hotspots and/or Internet via the tv set in every room. Business hotels offer a business corner with Internet terminals and connectivity. In the ETG is indicated which facilities are available per hotel. The facilities are available for a fee.
