Denmark General

Denmark is a country in northern Europe on the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. The country is low lying with a mixture of ferrile and sandy soils and long indented coastlines.
The climate is cool and temperate, with rainfall throughout the year.
Most of the area is fertile farmland or pasture and agriculture, fishing and forrestry are important activities. Metal working, food processing and brewing, chemicals and engineering are laso important.
The about 5.200.000 Danes live in an area of about 43.000 square kilometers and speak Danish and many of them English and/or German.
